A meeting in Bajil Directorate of Hodeida province discussed the interventions of the Food Security and Livelihoods Program, in the Save the Children organization, in targeting areas, for the priority multi-sectoral integrated response project in Yemen.
The meeting, which included the Director of the Directorate Abdel Moneim Al-Rifai, the representative of the branch of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Muhyiddin Sharah, the deputy director of Health Office, Mahran Al-Hasani, and the project officer, Muhammad Zaid Naji, reviewed the mechanism for distributing unconditional cash transfers to 1,637 families.
The meeting stressed the need to target the neediest beneficiaries in the health facilities supported by Save the Children through community committees.
The Director of the Directorate appreciated the interventions of the Food Security and Livelihoods Program in Save the Children, stressing the keenness of the local authority leadership and the Supreme Council branch to provide facilities for humanitarian work.
