Iraqi sources said that the leader of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Hajj Abu Baqir al-Saadi, was martyred in an American raid this evening.
They explained that the car that was bombed by drones north of Baghdad tonight contained leaders from the Hezbollah Brigades, namely Abu Baqir al-Saadi and Hajj Arkan al-Alaywi.
They added, “All roads leading to 3 areas in eastern Baghdad were closed.”
This came after the car was targeted and “3” people inside it were martyred in the Al-Mashtal area. The nature of the targeting was not known, but there were conflicting reports about it being targeted by an American drone.
