Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena renewed her country’s support for the Palestinian people, calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the violence and bloodshed.
This came during a phone call with her Iranian counterpart, Sayyed Abbas Araghchi.
During the conversation, the Mexican Foreign Minister stressed the need to end the violence and bloodshed in Gaza as soon as possible, noting that Mexico fully supports the ceasefire.
For his part, Araghchi stressed the need to stop the crimes committed by the “Zionist regime” in Palestine and the region, indicating that Iran supports any ceasefire agreement agreed upon by the Palestinian people and the resistance faction
