The Agricultural and Fisheries Finance Unit in Taiz Province inaugurated on Saturday the project of supplying 6 plows, 6 harvesters and 12 plows, in cooperation with the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee on the Prophet Muhammad’s birth anniversary .
At the inauguration, the acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi, emphasized that the project to provide agricultural equipment is one of the most important projects that advance the agricultural aspect in the province, pointing out that the local authority represented by the Agricultural and Fisheries Finance Unit seeks to provide all the requirements of agricultural production.
For his part, the Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Finance Unit, Mohammed Heba, stressed that this project comes within the framework of implementing the Revolution Leader’s directives, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him. He pointed out that the project will play a key role in empowering cooperative societies and encouraging farmers to expand the cultivation of staple crops.
He stressed that the financing unit is working to provide heavy equipment and provide all agricultural inputs through cooperative societies until self-sufficiency is achieved.
