The number of journalist martyrs since the beginning of the Zionist aggression on Gaza has risen to 195, after the death of a Palestinian journalist on Saturday evening, as a result of a Zionist bombing that targeted him and his family in the Bureij camp in Gaza.
The government media office in the Gaza Strip said that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 195 after the martyrdom of the colleague, editor of “Sanad News Agency”, journalist Muhammad Jabr Al-Qarnawi, on Saturday evening.
The media office condemned in a statement “in the strongest terms the targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli enemy, calling on all countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
The “government media” held the Israeli enemy, the American administration and the countries participating in the crime of genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany and France, fully responsible for committing this heinous and brutal crime.
In its statement, the office called on the international community, international organizations, and organizations related to journalistic and media work in all countries of the world to condemn the enemy’s crimes, deter it, and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and to bring the criminals of the usurping entity to justice.
It also called on them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the crime of genocide, and to stop the crime of killing and assassinating Palestinian journalists.
