The Israeli enemy continued on Monday evening its violations in southern Lebanon, targeting a number of towns with artillery shelling and explosions, coinciding with movements of its military vehicles in the area.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli enemy carried out a large explosion in the town of eastern Zawtar, in the Nabatieh district, causing a massive sound that reverberated across the Nabatieh area.
It said that the area located between the towns of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Mayfadoun in the Nabatieh district was subjected to intermittent artillery shelling, and the enemy’s artillery shelled the town of Braachit in the Bint Jbeil district, coinciding with the monitoring of movement of Israeli enemy vehicles in the town.
It added: “In Kafr Tabnit in the Nabatieh district, a Merkava tank belonging to the Israeli enemy fired two shells toward Jall al-Shihab, coinciding with the movement of Zionist military vehicles in the vicinity of Arnoun in the Nabatieh district.”
It continued: “An interceptor missile exploded above the town of Al-Qantara in the Marjayoun district.
Since the second of last March, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities and civilian objects, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded and the displacement of about one and a half million Lebanese citizens.
And on the 18th of last June, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the Islamabad memorandum of understanding was signed electronically between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and included a ceasefire on all fronts including Lebanon, but the Israeli enemy forces practice daily violations of the agreement.
