The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday a significant increase in the death toll since the start of Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023, with 45,259 deaths, primarily children and women, and 107,627 wounded.
According to the ministry, the occupation forces committed four massacres against families in the Strip, resulting in 32 deaths and 54 injuries in the past 24 hours.
Many victims are still under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
This Israeli escalation coincided with the siege of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the Strip, which has been subjected to continuous shelling, threatening the lives of patients and staff.
This comes amid medical authorities’ fear that the hospital will be forcibly evacuated, which will exacerbate the suffering of patients and deprive them of healthcare.
