The Social Welfare Department organized on Thursday in Sana’a the closing ceremony of the wounded “Living Martyrs” class for 82 participants, including 32 blind people in the Braille course and 50 disabled people in the cultural and refresher course.
At the ceremony, the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies, Major General Qassim Al-Tawil, praised the heroic roles played by the wounded, disabled and martyrs while confronting the enemies of the homeland and the people in the various fronts of pride and dignity.
He pointed out that one of the priorities and tasks set by the government of change and construction is to improve the level of providing services to the disabled in various fields based on the Revolution Leader directives, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi.
The graduates’ speech, delivered by the blind wounded Walid Al-Sanafi by reading Braille, pointed out that the participants in the courses have acquired the skill of reading and are able to integrate more fully into society.
