The Yemeni Parliament has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure in Yemen, which targeted civilian and service facilities in Sana’a and Hodeidah.
The Parliament described these actions as violations of Yemen’s sovereignty and breaches of international law, particularly condemning the targeting of civilian infrastructure as war crimes.
In its statement, the Parliament emphasized that such strikes undermine the livelihoods of the Yemeni people and exacerbate their suffering.
Furthermore, the statement reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in their struggle, underlining that these Israeli actions will not alter Yemen’s stance.
The Parliament called on regional, Arab, and international parliaments, as well as the global community, to condemn the targeting of Yemen’s infrastructure and stand united against Israeli actions in the region.
The statement also urged swift international action to end the siege and aggression on Gaza and halt Israeli actions against the Palestinian people.
