The Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York filed a complaint before the UN Security Council, in response to the ongoing Zionist attacks on the agriculture and livestock sectors, despite the announcement of a truce to stop hostilities.
The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today, Friday, that the complaint refuted the most prominent serious attacks, which constitute a clear violation of international laws and a direct threat to Lebanon’s sovereignty and food security, and cause damage and destruction to agricultural roads and infrastructure in southern Lebanon, in addition to destroying the /seedling multiplication/ project in /Wadi Al-Hujayr/ established with the support of the World Food Program and the European Union.
