The Civil Defense Directorate in the Gaza Strip stated on Monday that thousands of bodies are still under the rubble due to the lack of equipment needed to retrieve them and explained that most of them were found since the end of the aggression in Rafah.
It pointed out that humanitarian protocols require the entry of equipment, but the sector is currently receiving only food aid.
The directorate also reported that there is an urgent need for 120,000 shelter tents, with a continued shortage of tents and rubble removal equipment. It warned of the danger of unexploded ordnance left by the occupation on the lives of citizens.
