Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi called on the Yemeni people to hold solidarity rallies in support of the oppressed Palestinian people after preforming Eid al-Adha prayers in public squares across the country.
In a statement issued on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Sayyed Abdul-Malik strongly condemned what he described as the “shameful complacency” of Islamic nations—both governments and peoples—regarding the ongoing crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and across occupied Palestinian territories.
He confirmed that the shameful negligence of Muslims in Arab and other countries, along with the complicity of some Arab and Islamic regimes toward Zionist crimes, is a disgrace and a grave betrayal.
He stated that Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily violations: deliberate desecration of its courtyards, constant raids, and open blasphemy and insults to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH,F) within its grounds amid official Arab and Islamic silence that constitutes implicit complicity in the crime.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik also held regional regimes that are aligned with or complicit in Israeli policies responsible for what he termed “an existential threat” facing Palestine.
‘The Zionist enemy, with overt American partnership, seeks to displace millions of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. The Zionist enemy aims to confiscate remaining Palestinian lands in the West Bank by establishing additional settlements, blatantly violating all agreements and resolutions,” Sayyed Abdul-Malik said.
Sayyed Abul-Malik added: “The enemy’s actions expose the futility of agreements for those deceived by them, proving armed resistance as the inevitable path. The enemy’s behavior compels us to pursue divine victory, trust in Allah’s promise, and reject submission, betrayal, and costly compromises.”
“If our Ummah fails to act, it will inevitably face divine wrath and the severe punishments warned of in the Quran. Each day of the Palestinian people’s suffering adds to the burden on the two-billion-strong Muslim Ummah.”
Sayyed Abdul-Malik concluded his speech by “reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering support for Palestine and its cause, emphasizing that this year’s Eid al-Adha’s solidarity rallies represent a religious duty to show solidarity and renew the pledge to Palestine until the occupation ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.”
