GMO: Only 80 Aid Trucks Entered Gaza Yesterday

Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) reported on Monday that only 80 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday, a fraction of the 600 truckloads required daily to meet the population’s basic humanitarian needs, according to the Palestinian Information Center.

In a statement, GMO said that most of these trucks were looted before their contents could be distributed, accusing the Israeli occupation army of engineering security chaos and starvation in Gaza.

GMO strongly denounced the Israeli occupation regime for persisting in its systematic starvation policy in Gaza, preventing humanitarian aid delivery, and closing the border crossings, holding it and its allies fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

GMO called on the international community and its humanitarian organizations to take concrete action to permanently reopen the crossings and ensure the safe and sufficient flow of food aid, medical supplies and infant milk.
