The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) confirmed that it has prioritized children’s protection and essential needs amid numerous challenges.
The organization explained, in a post on the “X” platform, “What children in Gaza really need is long-lasting peace and the opportunity to rebuild their futures with dignity and protection.”

The ceasefire in Gaza came into effect on October 10 of last year after two years of intense conflict. Nevertheless, Israeli occupation forces have reportedly committed daily violations of the agreement and continue to restrict the entry of most humanitarian aid into the territory.
