The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed on Sunday that its humanitarian aid supplies to the Gaza Strip are still completely banned by the “Israeli” authorities.
In a post on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Agency said that the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains critical, calling on the international community not to forget the residents of the Strip.
It added that many homes are still destroyed, while humanitarian aid remains restricted and UNRWA supplies are completely banned.
It noted that hundreds of thousands of residents remain forcibly displaced, but it continues its efforts to support the affected and provide them with the necessary aid.
A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10 last, after a Zionist genocide war that lasted two consecutive years, yet the Israeli enemy army practices daily violations of the agreement and still prevents the majority of humanitarian aid from entering the Strip, especially the aid provided by UNRWA.
