A Lebanese citizen was martyred and 14 others were wounded in Israeli enemy airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon on Tuesday.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that one person was killed in an airstrike by enemy warplanes on the al-Baraka neighborhood in the town of Qounine.

The agency quoted a statement from the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health, saying that “an Israeli airstrike on the roundabout near the flag in the city of Tyre resulted in the wounding of 14 citizens, according to initial reports.”

In a related development, the agency reported that “the enemy has entered the town of Naqoura and is blowing up and burning a number of houses.”

Additionally, the enemy army has been observed intermittently entering the town of Aita al-Shaab, without establishing a permanent presence.

An enemy force also advanced towards the outskirts of the town of Dibil in the Bint Jbeil district via a road from the town of Qouzah towards Dibil.

According to the agency, the Lebanese army withdrew from the checkpoint in the town of Dibil to the public school on the outskirts of the town.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities. It has intensified its airstrikes, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens. This coincides with the aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist entity against Iran.
