ICRC: Humanitarian needs in Lebanon remain despite the ceasefire

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Lebanon said on Monday that humanitarian needs in Lebanon remain despite the ceasefire, highlighting ongoing strain on the healthcare system.

In a post on the platform X, the ICRC said support efforts are ongoing in the town of Tebnine, where medical teams have been reinforced, power generators repaired, and food and water supplied to staff continuing their work under difficult conditions.

It added that hospitals continue to face severe pressure, stressing that all efforts remain essential to ensure the continued delivery of life-saving healthcare services.
