Two Israeli soldiers injured in southern Lebanon

The Israeli occupation military announced on Tuesday the injury of two soldiers, one severely, in a drone attack carried out by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on Monday.

“An IDF soldier was severely wounded and another was lightly hurt in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon yesterday,” the military announced, referring to Israeli occupation forces.

The soldiers, one of them in serious condition, were taken to a hospital and their families were notified, the occupation army added.

In remarks to Israeli occupation army radio, an armored brigade commander said that the drone threat in southern Lebanon poses a significant operational challenge to the forces, noting that these weapons have become an integral part of Hezbollah’s tactics.

Another brigade commander serving in southern Lebanon added that confronting these drones is not easy, and that “there is little that can be done” in the face of their advanced capabilities.
