German President Frank Walter Steinmeier considered the American war on Iran unnecessary affirming that it could have been avoided.
According to the Iranian Tasnim Agency on Thursday Steinmeier described in a press interview the US and Israeli military attack on Iran as avoidable saying this war is unnecessary.
Steinmeier referred to the nuclear deal JCPOA from which the US withdrew in 2018 during the first term of Donald Trump s presidency saying it would have been good to maintain this agreement the consequences we are witnessing now would not have happened.
On February 28 of last year America and the Zionist entity launched a new aggression against Iran that lasted 40 days killing thousands of civilians and targeting schools hospitals mosques and other resources of the Iranian people.
In response to the aggression Iran launched Operation True Promise 4 against the Zionist entity and American bases in the region and closed the strategic Strait of Hormuz against the aggressors and their allies
