Israeli airstrikes intensify in southern Lebanon

Israeli forces continued ceasefire violations, launching heavy airstrikes across southern Lebanon.

Strikes targeted multiple towns including Bint Jbeil, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Habboush, Harouf, Deir Kifa, and Tebnine, destroying houses and buildings and causing widespread damage. Artillery also shelled areas near Shebaa.

One civilian was reported injured, and dozens of shops and residential units were damaged. A strike also cut off a main road, later reopened by rescue teams.

Since March 2, Israeli attacks have escalated, causing thousands of casualties and displacing around 1.5 million people. Despite a ceasefire in mid-April, violations continue daily.
