The Israeli occupation army issued an evacuation order for nine towns and villages in south Lebanon and West Bekaa ahead of anticipated strikes, the Lebanese National News Agency reported, citing a military statement.
In the statement, the occupation army ordered residents in the villages of Al-Rayhan (Jezzine), Jirjou’, Kfar Remen, Nmeiriyeh, Arab Salim, Al-Jmijmeh, Mashghara, Qalaya (Western Beqaa), and Harouf to evacuate their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away toward open areas.
Israeli occupation military launched airstrikes and artillery shelling early Monday targeting several towns in southern Lebanon.
In the same context, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Haris in the Bint Jbeil district on Monday.
Overnight and into the early morning hours, Israeli aircraft launched raids on the towns of Jmaijmeh and Shaqra in Bint Jbeil district and on the outskirts of Touline toward Wadi al-Hujeir in Marjayoun district.
Heavy artillery shelling also targeted Touline, while intermittent bombardment hit Yater, Kfara and Haris. Shelling extended to Wadi al-Hujeir near the outskirts of Froun and Ghandoorieh, as well as Safad al-Battikh, Jmaijmeh, Sultaniyeh, Froun and Touline.
Israeli warplanes also struck the town of Qlailah in Tyre district again.
