Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Lebanon Rises to 4,175 Martyrs, 12,164 Wounded

The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose on Monday to 16,339 people, including 4,175 martyrs and 12,164 wounded, since the start of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2 of last year.

According to a daily statistical report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency, the toll of victims from the aggression increased over the past 24 hours by 69 martyrs and 11 wounded.

The report stated that the number of martyrs and wounded among healthcare workers reached 135 martyrs and 406 wounded, as a result of 176 assaults by the Israeli enemy army on ambulance teams and health personnel.

Since March 2 of last year, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian properties, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Lebanese citizens, the majority of whom are not registered in shelters.

A temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April of last year, but the Israeli enemy army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement.

Last Thursday, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the Islamabad memorandum of understanding was signed electronically between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon.
