The German capital, Berlin, witnessed a massive demonstration on Saturday in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and in condemnation of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

According to the Palestinian Shehab News Agency, a large number of protesters gathered at “Oranienplatz” in the “Kreuzberg” district before marching towards “Sonnenallee” in the “Neukölln” district, under tight security measures taken by the German police.

Participants in the march expressed their strong protest against the enemy’s policies in the Palestinian territories, while also condemning the German government’s continued arming of “Israel.”

Protesters chanted passionate slogans demanding freedom and an end to the occupation, including: “Freedom for Gaza… Palestine is free until liberation,” “End the occupation,” “Where are you, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz? Children are being killed,” “Israel bombs and Germany supports,” “This is not a war, this is genocide,” and “Israel is a child killer.”

Protesters raised Palestinian flags alongside banners written in several languages highlighting the dire conditions in the occupied territories, such as “Stop the genocide” and “Gaza under fire,” in addition to photos of a number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.

The demonstration ended peacefully at the intersection of “Panierstrasse” and “Sonnenallee,” after protesters delivered their message denouncing international silence and Western support for Israeli military operations.
