Iranian Source: Reopening Strait of Hormuz Conditional on Curbing Israel’s Actions in Lebanon

A source close to the Iranian negotiating team in Switzerland confirmed to Tasnim News Agency on Sunday that reopening the Strait of Hormuz will not be possible without curbing Israel’s actions in Lebanon, noting that lifting the naval blockade on Iran alone is insufficient to achieve this.

The source explained that the continuation of Israeli crimes in Lebanon and the lack of regional stability will prevent any progress in negotiations on other issues, adding that “no negotiations will be held on other matters under these circumstances.”
