Israeli occupation issues evacuation order for 20 Lebanese villages

The Israeli occupation military has issued an immediate, widespread evacuation directive for residents living across 20 distinct towns and villages in southern Lebanon, ordering civilians to flee their homes immediately.

In a statement, the occupation military said the measures were being taken in response to ceasefire violations by the Lebanese group Hezbollah.

It added that it intended to conduct operations against Hezbollah-linked targets and claimed that civilians were not the intended targets of its actions.

According to the statement,  the Lebanese towns and villages subject to immediate evacuation orders cover a wide geographical area stretching between the Nabatieh district, the Jezzine region, and the Iqlim al-Tuffah region.

These include: Deir Zahrani, Al-Namiriya, Al-Sharqiya, Al-Duwayr, Harouf, Haboush, Kfar Jouz, Zibdine (Nabatieh), Nabatieh al-Tahta, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Rumman, Al-Mahmoudiya, Sajd (Jezzine), Rihan, Aramta, Kfarhouna, Mlikh, Al-Luwayza (Jezzine), Jarjouh, and Arab Salim.

The occupation military also warned civilians against remaining near Hezbollah members, facilities or military assets, claiming that doing so could put their lives at risk.
