Palestinian student killed, others injured in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City

A Palestinian high school student was killed and several other civilians were injured on Monday when Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a civilian vehicle in the center of Gaza City, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing medical sources.

According to the sources, the high school student Raghad Ashour was killed and others sustained various injuries in an Israeli airstrike on the Rimal neighborhood in western Gaza City.

The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the ceasefire on October 11 last year has risen to 1,021, while the number of injuries reached 3,249. A total of 784 bodies have been recovered during the same period.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them so far.
