A helicopter crashed on Friday in the Erzgebirge Mountains in Saxony, eastern Germany.
German news agency DPA, citing Chemnitz police, reported that the helicopter crashed in a forest near Sehmatal, with only the pilot on board.
According to German public broadcaster MDR, the pilot was killed in the crash.
No official statement has yet been issued on the cause of the accident.
