Iran targets two Jordanian air bases in response to Larak island attack

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Sunday evening that it had targeted the King Hussein and Azraq air bases in Jordan in response to the US-Israeli air attack on Larak Island.

The Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted the IRGC’s public relations office as saying in a statement that fighters from the IRGC Aerospace Force carried out a combined missile and drone operation, under the slogan “Ya Muhammad ibn Abdullah (PBUH),” as part of an operation to punish the aggressor.

The statement explained that the operation targeted the technical infrastructure, maintenance facilities, and enemy fighter jet positions at the two bases, noting that they were targeted with ballistic missiles and suffered heavy losses.

It warned that aggression and crimes will not solve the enemy’s failure to weaken the Islamic Republic’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that every act of aggression will be met with a more powerful and crushing response.
