Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vowed today, Sunday, to respond to the attack launched by US forces on Larak Island, affirming that the aggression will not go unanswered and that the aggressor will receive appropriate punishment.
According to Iran’s Tasnim news agency, the IRGC’s Public Relations said in a statement: “The American-Zionist enemy has once again, in light of its inability to address its internal crises and the decline of its status and credibility among regional countries, attempted to revive its destructive role and justify its positions before public opinion.”
The statement added that the enemy, “in an aggressive step, targeted Larak Island, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of our fighters and our people.”
The IRGC affirmed that “the sons of Islamic Iran will respond to this aggression, and it will result in punishment being inflicted upon the aggressor.”
