Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has renewed its warning over repeated acts of desecration of the Holy Quran, citing the latest incident involving American national Jake Lang, who burned and desecrated the Quran again.
In a statement, the ministry described the act as a heinous crime and said it was part of an ongoing hostile Zionist-Jewish campaign against Islam, Muslims and Islamic holy sites.
The ministry called on Islamic countries not to limit their response to statements of condemnation, urging them to take practical measures against repeated offenses targeting the Quran and to firmly confront those who target Islam and its sacred sites.
The ministry stressed that such acts would not diminish the Quran’s status or sanctity, affirming that it would remain a source of guidance, mercy and light for humanity.
