Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has reaffirmed the Yemeni people and Armed Forces’ support for the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and their commitment to confronting the Zionist project until the end of the occupation.
In a statement marking the 20th anniversary of Hezbollah’s victory in the July 2006 war, the ministry congratulated Hezbollah on the occasion, saying the anniversary reaffirms the inevitability of victory.
The ministry said that the anniversary comes as the Israeli enemy continues grave crimes in Lebanon, amid shameful silence from the Lebanese authorities and complicity by Arab regimes.
It stated that the Lebanese authorities are granting the Israeli enemy legitimacy to carry out attacks by engaging with it at the negotiating table, while focusing on the weapons of the resistance as Israeli weapons are used in attacks against Lebanon.
The ministry also condemned the latest Israeli attacks, including the reported massacre in the southern Lebanese towns of Ansar and Deir Al-Zahrani, saying the so-called framework agreement was being used as cover for the continuation of Israeli crimes.
It said that such crimes would not continue without the subservience of some Arab regimes and their involvement in the Zionist alliance.
The ministry concluded by reaffirming that Yemen considers itself part of the wider confrontation with the Zionist project and stands alongside Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance and its supporters.
