At least 14 civilians were killed and 15 others injured, including women and children, in an initial toll as a result of Saudi airstrikes on Wednesday targeting the central Al-Hazm market, adjacent houses, and a fuel station in Jawf Governorate during peak shopping hours.
The Health Ministry in Sana’a initially reported 13 fatalities and 16 injuries, including three women, stating that the strikes inflicted severe damage on nearby commercial shops and residential homes.
The ministry categorized the targeting of markets, gas stations, and residential areas as a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law.
