The Foreign Ministry held on Tuesday, an expanded meeting with heads of international organizations and UN humanitarian agencies, under the chairmanship of Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Azzi.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed the suffering and humanitarian challenges faced by the Yemeni people as a result of the Saudi aggression and blockade, which led to negative repercussions to the lives and livelihoods of the citizens.
The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that despite the great efforts made by the international organizations in Yemen, it is still not lived up to the expectations for the Yemeni people, especially after three years of aggression and a comprehensive blockade.
Azzi praised efforts of the international organizations and agencies operating in Yemen for alleviating humanitarian suffering.
“The Salvation Government would spare no effort to provide all necessary facilities to ease the work of international organizations operating in Yemen,” he added.
