President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh al-Samad, on Thursday inaugurated the military operational training in the central military region for 2018.
Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, attended the inauguration process along Commander of the Region, Maj. Gen. Abdulkhaliq Badruddin.
During the inauguration, they discussed the central military, combat, operational and moral plans for the current year and the military tasks, activities and operations carried out by the leadership and its members in the face of aggression to defend the homeland and its sovereignty and independence.
The military leaders briefed the President about training plans in the combat, operational fields, the tasks, activities and operations.
President stressed on the importance of the role played by the region in defending country against the Saudi-led coalition.
While the leaderships of the Central Military Region confirmed readiness and willingness to sacrifice in order to defend the homeland and defeat the invaders and conspirators on s security and stability of Yemen.
They also affirmed readiness to confront the aggression, its mercenaries, and their projects and plans aimed at dividing and occupying Yemen.
