Mohammed Ali al-Houthi has on Friday said that the final statement of the Arab summit held in Mecca city in Saudi Arabia has failed to address the Palestinian issue.

In his speech to the mass rally held in the capital Sana’a in Friday to mark International al-Quds Day, al-Houthi asked the summit participants “Why was tge Palestinian issue not a priority for you in military spending?”

Al-Houthi furthermore noted that the funds being offered to US president Donald Trump are Arab funds, and that it would be far worthier to spend this money for the al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee also said that the statements of Arab and Gulf summits were just pro forma statements that had completely abandoned the Palestinian issue.

Mohammed al-Houthi concluded by calling on all Arabs to set up a program for the liberation of Al-Aqsa and al-Quds (Jerusalem), and guaranteed that the Yemenis would be with them in this endeavour.

“Let the Palestinian cause be the Islamic summit issue, the issue that Muslims have the honor of addressing,” he finished.
