Yemen’s Defense Minister Maj. Genl. Mohammad Nasser al-Atafi on Wednesday has visited the sites of the Yemeni army and popular committees in al-Ajashar front in Jawf province.
During the visit, he praised great victories and courageous national positions by the Yemeni army against the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries.
The minister delivered his speech before the army and fighters in the province conveying greetings and congratulations of revolution leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi and president of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
“We are so proud to have been in the military sites with our army fighters defending the homeland and its sovereignty against the foreign aggression,” al-Atafi said.
Al-Atafi affirmed that there is progress and development in various military industrial fields for rebuilding of the armed forces to confront challenges facing the Yemeni people.
