The United Nations Security Council on Monday extended the mandate of the UN mission observing the redeployment in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah according to the Stockholm Agreement between Sana’a authorities and the exiled Hadi’s Saudi-backed administration.
According to the British delegation to the United Nations, “all the 15 members of the Security Council voted in favor of extending the mandate of the United Nations Mission in support of Hodeidah agreement.”
The UN mission was granted a mandate in January for six months.
