Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen, Mahmoud al-Junaid and the Mayor of Sana’a Hamoud Obad, have on Thursday inaugurated the “12/12” cleanness campaign in all districts of the capital, which is being implemented by the capital’s Cleaning Fund.
The campaign was launched from Bab Al-Yemen Square with the broad participation of various segments of society, local councils, executive offices, civil society organizations and initiatives, and environmental awareness center teams in the Cleaning Fund in the capital.
At the inauguration, al-Junaid said that “the capital Sana’a is today the first model in the various tracks of services provided to citizens, especially in light of the aggression and the blockade.”
For his part, Obad affirmed that the campaign, in which all sectors, offices, districts and the various segments of society participate, represents a message that the Yemeni people are steadfast and continuing in their work and life normally
