Yemen’s Parliament on Saturday hailed the victories achieved by the Yemeni Armed Forces on various fronts and welcomed the presidential amnesty decision, thanking citizens who supported the Armed Forces in areas of confrontation.
In a statement issued during its session, Parliament praised the wisdom and resolve of the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President Mahdi Al-Mashat in taking measures to confront the Saudi escalation.
The Parliament reaffirmed Sana’a’s commitment to securing the safety of international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of vessels belonging to the Saudi enemy besieging Yemen.
It stressed that developments in Yemen are an internal matter and that the Saudi regime has no right to interfere in the country’s affairs.
The Parliament called on Saudi Arabia to respect Yemen’s unity and independence and refrain from interfering in its internal affairs if it wants peace to prevail in the region and the world.
