Ministry of Interior revealed on Sunday the arrest of one of the most dangerous gang in the capital Sana’a.
Interior Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Abdul Khaleq al-Ajri affirmed in a statement to Saba that the security services managed to storm the gang’s den after fierce clashes started by the gang’s members.
The storm ended up with the arrest of the gang’s leader with its members and injuries of two security men, he added.
Al-Ajri stated that weapons and a number of stolen cars were found in the gang’s possession, noting that the gang gangsters confessed to smuggling more than 286 tons of drugs into the country.
They also admitted that they are linked to Saudi and Emirati military leaders and the aggression’s mercenaries, who facilitate the drugs delivery and distribution inside the country, he said.
