Minister of Information Dhaifallah Al-Shami discussed, during his meeting on Sunday with Governor of Marib province Ali Mohammed Ta’iman, ways to improve the media performance in the province.
At the meeting, Al-Shami stressed the importance of the media role in covering official activities and community events, strengthening the factors of popular steadfastness in confronting the aggression, and exposing violations of the Saudi-led aggression coalition, especially in the occupied areas.
The meeting touched on aspects related to improving the level of media performance, keeping pace with the activities of the province leadership, the local authority and government offices, and monitoring the crimes of the aggression coalition and its mercenaries.
The plans of the media offices in the province for the current year were reviewed in the meeting, as well as the coordinated efforts to provide the needs of the offices.
The meeting approved a number of measures to ensure the development of media work and the training and qualification of cadres from the province in the media field.
