An armed group affiliated with Al-Islah stormed a hospital in the center of the city of Taiz, which is under the control of the party, killing and wounding workers.

A source reported that gunmen led by Jalal Asaj and Mubarak Al-Wafi stormed the Riyadh Hospital in the Bir Pasha area in the center of the city, and fired indiscriminately at its staff, killing one of his guards and wounding 4 others.

The source pointed out that the attack damaged medical equipment, devices and hospital equipment, in addition to causing a state of terror and fear among its staff, especially nurses and doctors.

Doctors Without Borders has previously condemned the incursions of Islah groups into hospitals in the city of Taiz, and their execution of liquidation operations inside their corridors.

The attack comes at a time when merchants and shop owners in the city of Taiz continue their strike, denouncing the continued imposition of illegal royalties by force, under the protection of the leaders of the Taiz military axis, loyal to the party.
