United Nations renewed its warning of the repercussions of the decline in food security in the areas controlled by the coalition in southern Yemen.

In a bulletin on updating food security in Yemen, the World Food Program confirmed the frightening rise in prices, explaining that food prices in Aden increased by up to 26% during the past month ,also fuel prices also recorded a significant increase.

The program stated that the deterioration of the local currency in Maeen government areas is still continuing.

The program praised the Sana’a government, confirming its success in maintaining relative stability of the currency and prices alike.

The coalition-controlled areas are witnessing an unprecedented collapse at all levels, which caused a new wave of protests, especially in Aden.
