investigations of the Sana’a Municipality achieved distinguished achievements in controlling crime, and made great efforts to maintain security, stability and public tranquility during the first quarter of the current year 1445 AH.
Statistics issued by the Capital Secretariat Investigation Department stated that during the aforementioned period, 101 crimes whose perpetrator was unknown were discovered, and those accused of committing them were arrested, and an arrest rate of 90% of the total crimes reported was achieved, while the rest are still under follow-up.
The statistics showed that during the same period, the capital’s investigations department seized a number of crimes of moral corruption and 13 theft gangs, during which 52 people were accused of committing them.
The statistics stated that during the same period, secretariat investigations recovered 10 cars, 25 motorcycles, 38 phones, weapons and other property whose owners reported them stolen.
The statistics included that the Capital Investigation Department completed two thousand and 876 transactions for citizens’ service transactions or other administrative transactions and work during the same period.
The statistics showed that the Capital Secretariat Investigation Department carried out 2,759 security missions during the aforementioned period.
