Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday condemned the recent Zionists’ attack in the northern Gaza Strip, expressing concern over the international and regional response to the Zionists’ war crimes and suffering faced by Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the occupied territories.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced these crimes and genocidal war committed by the Zionist entity as violations of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The ministry issued a warning about the continued ground offensive by the Israeli forces in Gaza, emphasizing that it could lead to a humanitarian crisis with severe consequences, posing a threat to international peace and security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community, including the United States and Arab nations, to consider the initiative put forth by the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas. This initiative calls for a prisoner exchange, adhering to the principle of releasing all prisoners.

The ministry’s statement also commended the resilience of the Palestinian people and reiterated the unwavering support of the leadership, government, and people of Yemen for the Palestinian cause.

It emphasized the significance of the Palestinian issue and called on nations aligned with the Zionist entity to reconsider their positions and support their people’s calls for a just resolution to the Palestinian cause and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
