Dozens killed and injured in Israeli bombing of homes and schools housing displaced people in Gaza Strip

Dozens of people were killed and injured in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling at homes and schools housing displaced people in the Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported, citing local sources.

The Israeli occupation artillery also bombed the house of WAFA agency correspondent, Khader Zaanoun, wounding a number of his family members and destroying the house and burning it completely.

According to Wafa news agency, 20 people, mainly women and children, were killed and others were injured when the Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at the Bureij refugee camp school in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes also bombed two houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing six people and wounding others. The warplanes also targeted three homes in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, 19 people were killed and others were injured after the Israeli warplanes targeted a house in Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Also in Shuja’iya, warplanes bombed three houses, which led to the death of at least five people and the injury of others.

The bombing targeted six houses in Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of four people and the injury of others.

Israeli warplanes also targeted a house in al-Daraj neighborhood, and three other houses in the al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, leading to the death of 15 people, while the warplanes destroyed at least 10 homes in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing and wounding many others.

The occupation artillery fired at least 10 shells toward the Indonesian hospital and its surroundings, killing 10 people and wounding others.
