The Meteorology National Center expected on Thursday scattered showers on various provinces of Yemen.
In its weather forecast, the scattered rains may fall on parts of Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Sana’a, Mahweet, Hajjah and Saada, and the Tihama Plain.
It indicated the winds will be moderate to strong, with speeds ranging between 15 to 30 knots on the south of the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden, while ranging its speeds between 10 to 20 knots on and around the Socotra Archipelago and the rest of the coast.
The center noted that cold weather may hit the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, with the possibility of fog forming on parts of the highlands of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb and Taiz.
It called citizens in areas expected to rain to take caution and not be in the valleys during and after the rain.
