Air Force helicopters participated in the relief operation for those affected by the torrential floods resulting from heavy rains that hit a number of areas in Malhan District, Al Mahwit Governorate.
The helicopters dropped food and shelter aid provided by the Civil Defense Authority to those affected who were trapped in a number of areas in the Hamdan and Al Qibla districts in Malhan District, as a result of landslides saturated with water on their homes built in unsound places.
The relief operation and provision of aid by helicopters comes out of a sense of responsibility towards those affected who are trapped in the Hamdan and Al Qibla districts.
The people and sons of the Hamdan and Al Qibla districts in Malhan expressed their gratitude and great appreciation to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council for providing relief materials and food and shelter aid to those affected by the torrential floods and rains.
