An Israeli police officer was injured this evening, Sunday, in a stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian youth in the city of Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation forces fired at a young man in the Old City, claiming he was carrying out a stabbing attack.
The newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that a police officer was slightly injured in a stabbing incident in the area of Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem. It also noted that the forces fired at the perpetrator.
The Zionist organization “Save the Borders” reported that the perpetrator of the stabbing attack in the Damascus Gate area of Jerusalem was killed.
Meanwhile, Palestinian sources indicated that the enemy forces closed the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and all entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.
