The head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, Sayyed Hashim Safieddine, stressed on Tuesday that the Zionist enemy, after nearly a year after the war on the Gaza Strip and its aggression against southern Lebanon, “stands lost and confused in front of its disappointment because it did not achieve any of its goals.”
Al-Mayadeen quoted Sayyed Safieddine, on the 40th anniversary of the martyred jihadist commander Sayyed Fouad Shukr: “The occupation entity is in a deep crisis as evidenced by its targeting of leaders and civilians.” He added: “The mujahideen are fighting the battle today, in Gaza, South Lebanon and across the entire nation, with courage, and thwarting the enemy’s malicious plans.”
He continued: “Our eyes are looking forward to the enemy’s goals and objectives, which will not be realized in Gaza, Lebanon or the region.” He emphasized that “Al-Aqsa flood was a manifestation of resistors will , and the Zionist project was shaken, and its leaders felt that all that Israel had built was threatened with demise.”
He pointed out that “the Zionist enemy continues its massacres in Gaza Strip, but it has not yet realized the final goal, which indicates an unusual imbalance.”
Sayyed Safieddine said, “The Zionists are returning to empty strategies, and their destruction, threats and assassinations will not restore security and tranquility to the settlers in the north. He added: “The only solution is to stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip.”
He emphasized that “the Palestinian resistance factions are still strong and steadfast, and there are great capabilities that the resistance still retains inside the Gaza Strip.”
He explained that the martyr Fouad Shukr assassination made targeting Tel Aviv in the resistance’s work program, and this is what we wanted to prove in “Arbaeen Day” operation against the Zionist enemy. He added: “Hezbollah’s information confirms that the drones in Operation Arbaeen Day reached their targets in the Zionist Unit 8200.”
